The house in which a certain singer and a famous actress celebrated their marriage has a new owner.
In fact, this mid-century modern houseboat in Palm Springs, California—where Elvis and Priscilla Presley honeymooned in 1966—found a buyer just six weeks after listing. The Wall Street Journal reported that the home was sold to Nancy Cirillo, former owner of a women’s fitness apparel line, who paid Seattle-based investors Dan Bridge and Paul Armistead’s asking price of $5.65 million.
“You walk in, and it wraps around you. It was so easy to love it,” Cirillo said of the home’s “cool, sexy, quirky” architecture and allure. The 4,700-square-foot four-bedroom won Cirillo not by its association with the Man in Black—but With its curved design without angle.
Compass agent Mark Sanders, who represented the buyer and seller, told the newspaper that the sellers received multiple offers for the property. “[With] With the amount of attention this home was getting, Sanders said, “You wouldn’t have imagined” We were in a softer market.










“A dynamic winged, spaceship-like roofline shelters four circular pods with the center of the house jutting out from a dramatic tiered waterfall,” The Post previously reported.
Through double height carved timber doors, the futuristic accommodation leads to a ‘sunken party pad’ made up of stone walls, glass and a floating hearth. Natural sunlight abounds throughout, and the open format living room overlooks a covered dining room and poolside lounge. The primary suite with balcony is at observation deck level and a circular bathtub is located at the top of a grand staircase. The other bedrooms also feature en-suite bathrooms, and two also have a terrace.
Bridge and Armistead put the property on the market after a renovation that included restoring various details, including stone floors and terrazzo.
Priscilla, 77, and Elvis have been married for six years. They divorced in 1973.
