Central Michigan at Eastern Michigan broadcast, odds, channel, prediction, how to watch on CBS Sports

The final week of the college football regular season is finally here, and it promises to deliver some drama as teams look to enter the postseason — or the offseason — in a big way. As part of the event, CBS Sports will broadcast five games from across the country over the weekend.

First, there are two games on Friday as action heats up the day after Thanksgiving with Eastern Michigan hosting Central Michigan and Colorado State hosting New Mexico. Then, on Saturday, the network will carry three more games where Conference USA and Mountain West will each be played.

Florida Atlantic will host Western Kentucky Noon East in a high-stakes Conference USA contest to get things started. Next, UAB travels to Louisiana Tech in search of bowl eligibility in the afternoon. Finally, the day’s action ends with San Diego State Air Force hosting a battle between Mountain West enemies.

Central Michigan in eastern Michigan

Storylines: Eastern Michigan could reach eight wins for the first time since 1987 if they finish the regular season with a win over Central Michigan. The Chippewas fell to 4-7 with a 12-10 loss to Western Michigan last week, but they can play spoiler this week against the Eagles who are enjoying one of their best seasons in program history. CMU has won the last three in the series.

New Mexico in Colorado

Storylines: Both teams are looking to enter their first season on a high note coming in with identical records of 2-9. Colorado State with a 3-5 record in the Mountain West, under first-year head coach Jay Norvell, could finish with a win. This would mark an improvement over the last two seasons for the Rams. New Mexico has lost eight in a row under third-year head coach Danny Gonzalez and is on the brink of going winless in the league.

Western Kentucky in Atlantic Florida

Storylines: A spot in the USA Championship Game could be on the line for Western Kentucky with a win and a loss for North Texas. Florida Atlantic, on the other hand, is fighting for bowl eligibility. The Hilltoppers snapped a four-game losing streak in the series with a 52-17 win over FAU last season.

UAB at Louisiana Tech

Storylines: UAB has a record five consecutive winning seasons since resuming play in the 2017 season after the program was dormant for two seasons. For a chance to extend the streak to six, the Blazers must beat Louisiana Tech in order to finish the regular season 6-6 and receive a bowl invitation. The Bulldogs are 3-8 under first-year head coach Sonny Comby but 3-1 at home this season.

San Diego State Air Force

Storylines: San Diego State tormented Air Force with nine straight wins in the series, including six that were by a touchdown or fewer. If the Aztecs extend the streak to 10 this week, it will be even the flawless series at 19-19. Both teams are already eligible to enter this meeting on winning streaks of three matches. The Aztecs beat New Mexico 34-10 last week while the Falcons thrashed Nevada.
