The best college football games on TV today
No. 19 Tulane at No. 24 Cincinnati, 12 noon on ABC
The winner of this game not only hosts the American Athletic Conference Championship Game, but will also be in the driver’s seat of the Group V New Year’s Six Showcase.
Baylor at #23 Texas, 12 noon on ESPN
Texas isn’t out of contention for the Big 12 Championship just yet, but the Longhorns must beat Baylor to put any potential scenarios into play. The Bears are playing for their bowl position and second straight win over Texas.
NC State at #17 North Carolina, 3:30 p.m. on ABC
North Carolina State dropped the ball (literally) last week against Georgia Tech and is now looking for some momentum heading into the ACC Championship Game. NC State has lost two in a row and is dealing with multiple injuries but would love nothing more to deliver another Tar L heel at Chapel Hill.
Arkansas in Missouri, 3:30 p.m. on CBS
Missouri needs a win to become eligible for the tournament while Arkansas is riding high after defeating Ole Miss. The Razorbacks are also looking to retain the Battle Line Trophy.
Nebraska at Iowa, 4 p.m. on the Big Ten Network
Iowa aims for back-to-back Big Ten West titles and has defeated Nebraska seven times in a row. The Cornhuskers would love to play spoiler and give their fanbase something to cheer about (and I don’t mean the pending announcement of the head coaching vacancy).
Florida at #16 Florida State, 7:30 p.m. on ABC
Florida State has won four in a row as Florida fights to stay above . 500. The Seminoles have all the momentum going into them against Sunshine State and are hoping to snap a three-game losing streak to the Gators for a satisfying regular season.
