This highly sought after tabletop accessory is on sale again on Black Friday. While it usually sits on plentiful registers, the KitchenAid Professional 5 Quart Stand Mixer is nearly 50 percent off and is basically the next best thing to get as a gift. If you’re looking to save space, the KitchenAid Artisan Mini 3.5 Quart is on sale for $260 ($110 off)—a little more expensive than the 5-quart, but better for smaller kitchens and families.

Much like the KitchenAid mixer, the Vitamix 5200 is a home-warming and wedding-recording staple. You don’t have to go for a major life change to justify buying it, although WIRED writer Joe Ray wanted to explore making new kitchens and fell in love with it. Whether you’re blending smoothies, soups, or sauces, this blender is sturdy and durable. This is definitely a great opportunity to upgrade your blender, but if you’re looking to spend less, the entry-level Vitamix—the Explorian—is on sale for $190 ($100 off).

If touchscreens and wireless connections are your thing, the Vitamix Ascent system has you covered. This blender is slightly smaller than the 5200, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in technology. For example, the Smart Base can detect which top you’re attaching and adjust accordingly to ensure all your mixing needs are met.

Triple layer cookware

Fully lined pots and pans are almost heirloom-worthy additions to your cookware. I kid you not – my in-laws gave us some that were over 10 years old before we got our new set, and they worked out great. All-Clad tends to be on the pricier side, so now is the time to invest in this classic stainless steel set.

For those who prefer non-stick cookware, All-Clad has this five-piece set on sale. What sets this apart compared to other non-stick pots and pans is that the set is anodized, meaning it has a protective oxide coating. The nonstick coating wears out over time, and this process keeps the set more durable.

Much like all of our handmade clothes, my husband and I have owned Cuisinart pots and pans for many years. It took us four years of living together before we had our newlyweds set, cooking evenly and looking presentable. This is definitely a great starter kit for people who aren’t ready to drop too much on an All-Clad, but still want something that will last a while.

It’s no secret that WIRED writer Jaina Gray loves De’Longhi espresso machines. However, they often cost a pretty penny, so when there’s a sale, we have to scream. The Bar Pump Espresso and Cappuccino machine is a decent espresso-serving machine that won’t break the bank, especially for less than $200 on Black Friday.

The two most important things for a drip coffee maker are getting the beans to be soaked quickly and uniformly. The Hamilton Beach machine has a perfect conical shape for this. Although we didn’t test it, WIRED’s resident coffee expert Jaina Gray agreed, given the structure.

Sometimes TikTok tells you to buy things you don’t need, but other times you get them right. We love the original Dash Mini Waffle Maker, so suffice it to say we think it’s even better when you add cute hearts. With the Dash, you get a compact, easy-to-clean waffle maker for all your Leslie Knope-inspired breakfast needs.

Nothing is better than getting a fresh pizza straight from the oven, with bubbling cheese and a fluffy, charred crust. DiGiorno can’t quite replicate that taste, but Gozney Roccbox can. It’s a bit bulky for a pizza oven – though not the size of a Gozney Dome – but great for hosting pizza parties…or just making and eating lots of pizza.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve forgotten about a warm cup of tea for an hour, only to accidentally take a sip of room temperature grief afterwards. The Ember mug is a great solution, as it allows you to sip coffee all day while maintaining your perfect cup temperature. This mug connects to an app and lets you set the temperature from 120 to 145 degrees, and it has a battery that lasts about an hour and a half, giving you plenty of time to enjoy Earl Gray.

The Google Nest Hub smart display can do everything from answer cooking questions in the kitchen to displaying your favorite photos from Santorini. This WIRED-recommended monitor also doesn’t invade your personal space — it doesn’t have a camera (unlike many others on the market), so you don’t have to worry about placing it in more private home areas. It’s half off, so it’s time to turn it off.

The Nest Mini (2nd generation) smart speaker has improved light years since the previous mini. It looks better, the device learns faster, and it can be wall-mounted, which improves your overall listening and assistant experience. It’s over 50 percent off now, too, so let your Google devices get the glow they deserve.

With the holidays approaching, it’s important to keep an eye on all of the deliveries—you don’t want someone stealing from Santa’s delivery sleigh. The Nest Cam is one of WIRED’s favorite outdoor security cameras due to its easy setup, seamless integration with Google, and 130-degree field of view. Santa Claus may be able to do a lot, but sometimes he’s so busy checking off his list that he needs help protecting your gifts.

Holiday stress keeping you up at night? Hatch Restore can help you sink into a peaceful sleep and wake up gently with its programmable morning and nighttime routines. Plus, you can sign up for a Hatch Sleep membership and get more sleep sounds, bedtime stories, and guided meditations. The Hatch Rest is also on sale for $60 ($10 off) with the coupon button, so your kids can more easily crash into the night, too.

Whoever coined the phrase “It’s raining cats and dogs” must have been cleaning up after their pet because they make a mess absolutely everywhere. The Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal makes cleaning easier with its cordless design and powerful suction. This isn’t the least we’ve seen this cordless vacuum on sale, but it’s still a pretty good deal.

The Roomba J7+ is the best of the best when it comes to robotic vacuums. Precise navigation paired with powerful suction is top of the line, giving you easy hands-free cleaning and peace of mind that it’s going to be well done. It even automatically empties the dust bin, so you don’t have to worry about keeping up with debris so much.

Everyone wants to breathe easy. For those with allergies, the Honeywell Insight HEPA is a great air purifier for rooms up to 500 square feet, clearing the air of dust, dander, and even cooking odors.
