We test products throughout the year and choose these deals carefully. Products that are completely sold out or no longer on sale will be sold out as of publication
cross off. We will be updating this guide throughout Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
When it comes to mattresses, the rule to live by is to never pay full price. No matter what time of year it is, there is always a sale coming up. The menu prices are set artificially high so that the deals seem extravagant, but they are not. We’ve carefully selected the best deals below, but our guide to the best mattresses has more options and detailed explanations for hybrid vs. all-foam.
This is our favorite mattress, and it’s the one to get if money is no object. That’s the same price it was during the Memorial Day sale and $50 more than last Black Friday (the base price went up). It lives up to its deluxe name and is plush and pillowy on top, but still has a medium-firm feel that’s good for all sleeping positions. The amount of money deducted depends on the size you choose. Click the View Offer button at the top of the website to see the exact amount, and what code you’ll need to apply at checkout. Each mattress order comes with two pillows.
Don’t want to spend as much money as an IUD? Casper is a great all-around option if you’re not sure what type of mattress to buy. This is what the reviewer called “as close to default as beds come”. You’ll get soft support, better breathability, and edge support than an all-foam mattress.
This mattress is perfect if you need stress relief for a better night’s sleep. You’ll sink into the memory foam top layer, it feels so supportive. There is a green ceramic gel foam for heat dissipation, which is able to keep its shape, so there will be no outline in the shape of a person the next night.
Does the thought of spending too much on a bed keep you up all night? Well, that’s a solid deal. The Nectar mattress is a good choice for side sleepers. Its MSRP is $999, but we usually see it drop to $799, so this is a real discount. It’s an all-foam bed, not a hybrid, but comfortable enough—you sink into it, but it doesn’t swallow you up. If you want to add two pillowcases, two sheets, and a mattress protector, you’ll need to add the accessories shown for $99.
Sound Instrument Deals
You can find more recommendations in our best audio equipment guide.
Click the coupon button on the page to see the discount at checkout. If you want an audio device and a sunrise alarm (plus a digital clock!), the Hatch hits the mark here. With the app, you can program your basic morning and nighttime routines, choose alarm and sleep sounds. It’s still pretty pricey even with that discount. A Hatch Sleep membership gives you a changing library of sounds, stories, and meditations, but it’s not required.
Click the coupon button on the page to see the discount at checkout. This version of Hatch is for kids, but anyone can use it. It has special features for children, namely rest time and rise time lights. It’s good for early risers not to disturb their parents on their only sleep-in day, but it can also be useful for adults who need a reminder to put their phone down and take a second to get to sleep. With the app, you can customize the colors and cycle through the sounds. The second generation version uses Wi-Fi instead of Bluetooth.
I really like Morphée products. It is carefully made and screen free. You can get a basic vocal instrument for cheaper, but this one adds meditations as well. Transition from the crackling sounds of a fireplace to meditation sessions designed to help you drift off to sleep. The downside is that you can choose between only playing 8 or 20 minutes; I hope the sounds play continuously.
Get this for the kids. Not only are they adorable, but the musings also take kids on journeys with an animal companion. I gave one to a friend whose daughter loves it, and listens to it being carried from room to room. It has the same time restrictions as the adult version.
Weighted blanket deals
Our best weighted blankets guide explains weights and sizes and has more selections.
The Yasa weighted blanket is pricey and rarely on sale, but it’s our favorite if you like a stiff, heavy blanket. The open design is nice and allows air to circulate if you’re a hot sleeper like me. It feels a lot heavier than the other options, too (that’s a good thing!). You can get it in sizes of 15 or 20 lbs.
Gravity may be the best known of the weighted blanket companies, and this blanket is the first affordable version of it. He left nothing to wish for – I loved sleeping with him. Weighing in at 15 lbs. and the perfect size for one person to enjoy without disturbing their partner. It’s machine washable, but there are some cover options, too. If you bought the blanket on Amazon, there’s an additional 10 percent off the page.
You can get a great blanket for less with the Gravity option above, but Brooklinen is beautiful, especially in its terracotta and dark green hues. It weighs 12 pounds, with a satisfyingly textured side and a soft cottony side.
The discount is applied automatically at checkout. The Baloo throw is slightly smaller than the Brooklinen throw, so it might be better for single sleepers (or if your partner doesn’t like heavy blankets). It’s a wonderfully crisp cotton, and there are linen duvet covers available in some really pretty colors. The blanket is also machine washable and dryable.

Body pillows are generally about your height or somewhat shorter. With this wobbly pillow I can wrap it around me, cocoon between it and my head on top. I sleep well as I click on this. The brand makes fuzzy covers, too, but they’re currently sold out. The lid makes it look like a teddy bear, but I like the cool feeling without it.
WIRED reviewer Haley Sprankle has been testing bed sheets, and these sateens from Brooklinen are a firm favorite. She says they have a smooth buttery sensation but don’t get hot during the night. They also come in pretty, muted colors, and even some patterns like a stunning kaleidoscope.
Blissy’s silk mask is cool and comforting, and it blocks out all light so I can sleep in it. It also comes in 38 (!!) colors and patterns. I alternate between this mask and the Nodpod Weighted Sleeping Mask.
WIRED Reviews Editor Julian Chokkattu loves crisp Parachute sheets, but the brand’s linen, satin, and cotton options are also on sale. However, they don’t come as a set, so you’ll have to buy a top sheet for $64 ($16 off) and a fitted sheet for $72 ($18 off) separately—there are dummy ones for $63 ($16 off) if you need them. . If you don’t sleep with a top sheet, this might be an advantage for you.
