Watch the fiery separation of the boosters of NASA’s Artemis 1 moon rocket

NASA has released video captured by a camera aboard the Space Launch System’s moon rocket that shows a fiery separation between the rocket’s two booster belts shortly after liftoff.

Attached to the rocket’s 322-foot (100-meter) core stage, the camera filmed two solid-fuel boosters, which helped the rocket lift off from the ground during its completion period. Launching November 16th, fall down, inflamed. The separation occurred 2 minutes and 11 seconds after the rocket lifted off from the Kennedy Space Center launch pad at 1:47 a.m. EDT (0647 GMT).
