Stephen King says Elon Musk is ‘visionary’ but ‘a terrible fit for Twitter’ – Deadline

Stephen King is back at it again calling out Elon Musk. In his latest tweet, the “King of Horror” is going after the Tesla and Twitter owner.

“I think Elon Musk is a visionary. He almost single-handedly changed the way Americans think about cars. I have a Tesla and I love it” The King He said before striking the musk. “However, he was a terribly good fit for Twitter. He seems to be making it as he moves forward.”

Musk responded to King by tweeting, “Suggestions welcome Mr. (crown emoji)”.

In a second response, Musk added, “The goal is a trusted digital city square, where a wide range of views is tolerated, provided people don’t break the law or spam. For example, any incitement to violence will lead to account suspension.”

Although King did not respond to Musk despite the latter asking for suggestions, the author did provide a few follow-up tweets.

“Be aware that I never said Musk created Tesla. He didn’t. He just made it work, against all odds. If you really want to understand how cool it was, look at DeLorian,” King chirp.

The king too pointed out That “Twitter is not cars. And Twitter is not missiles.”

This isn’t the first time King has called out Musk’s decisions as the owner of Twitter. Earlier this week, King predicted MyPillow would be the “only advertiser left” on the social media platform.

Previously, when Musk announced in October that getting a blue checkmark would cost blue Twitter subscribers $20, King demurred, saying, “$20 a month to keep the blue check? F*** that, they should pay me.” If it’s forced, I’ll go like Enron.”

Musk disagreed with the price and added, “We need to pay the bills somehow! Twitter can’t be completely dependent on advertisers. How about $8?”
